The boat ride to this island will definitely give you chills, and the three kilometer cliff walk after you reach there will offer you the most fabulous views of the sea. Every year in the summer, about 10,000 tourists visit this place every day.
Want to feel close to nature? Bring yourself to one of the Halligen Islands. There are 12 of the Halligen Islands in the North Sea. Since they are very small, they do not have protective dikes – causing them to be fully flooded whenever storms hit. Following the rhythm of tides, these islands appear as isolated places from the main world.
There are a number of lighthouses in the area. These striking red lighthouses with their different shapes and designs help guide the ships in the dark. Most of them are open for public visit, and after you reach the top of these lighthouses, the spectacular views remain in your memories for long.
